Ow ow ooooowwwwww!

I haven't posted in a while due to a sinus infection. Simple sinus infection, right? Why couldn't I post a simple post or picture? Because this sinus infection has been way more painful than I ever thought possible. I knew you had sinuses below your eyes. But did you know that they (the maxillary sinuses) extend down to your teeth? And if you get an infection in those sinuses, you get terrible, awful jaw pain. Now, I am a wuss about a lot of things, and whining and complaining about sinus pain seems, well, kind of pathetic. But I've had braces twice, my wisdom teeth removed, and jaw surgery, where they broke my jaw in three places, plated it, and wired me shut for 10 days. I've experienced my share of jaw pain, and this current infection ranks right up there. Maybe even worse, since I at least had codeine after my surgery.

I guess the upside of all this is that it's pretty much the best diet ever, and I'm now at my college, pre-marriage weight. And while it's been painful, I'd still take this over Becca's food poisoning adventure. I don't care if it was free with a fill-up, maybe you should avoid eating sushi from the Gas N Go. (I know, Becca, it wasn't THAT bad--but I've had that Scrubs quote in my head since Mom told me of your unfortunate incident!)

So that's the update on me. Now I'll post pictures of Mabes, because really, that's more fun.
