Tell us how you really feel...

Mabes loves Santa. Every time she sees a Santa she gets so excited, and Saturday morning at the ward breakfast was no different. But by the time we got to the front of the line, she wasn't too happy and wouldn't even fake a smile--I think I like this better, though.

We then went to the library, where Santa was also visiting and they had lots of craft and activity tables. Home for a nap, then we headed to the outlet mall for Christmas shopping and the obligatory carousel ride. Stopped at Chick-fil-A ("chick-a-lay") for dinner and then came home. In Em's words, the "best ever day."

Too cute...I also think grumpy santa pictures are way better than smiling pictures. We teach our kids not to talk to strangers so why should they smile at a strange, weird looking man who wants them to sit on his lap?!

What a cute little family! SM is the same way with Santa, he likes to see him, but when it comes to up close, thats a whole different issue.
Isn't it nice in the south you can drive within any 3 mile radius and find either a chicken or waffle joint?

Hooray! Brett just forwarded me your blog, I'm excited to have another distraction from my chores.

I love the picture, especially since you all sat on Santa's lap. I guess we should find a Santa somewhere to get the obligatory Christmas photo - we missed the ward party this year.
